Shipping policy
We ship via USPS, FedEx, & UPS. Although orders usually ship within 1-2 business days. Upon shipment we will send an email with the tracking number, you can also view shipment details from your account or the track order screen.
Occasionally we may need to drop ship a certain paint or color. Typically this may apply to Wise Owl Quarts and Gallons. Allow 1-3 business days to receive tracking. We appreciate you supporting our small business. Plus as a bonus for shipping with us, you earn points on every transaction.
Aside from unforeseen delays with carriers you can typically expect your parcel to arrive in:
- 1-5 business days via USPS
- 3-5 Business Days via UPS or FedEx after we ship the order.
Free Shipping:
We offer free shipping on orders over $50, with a coupon code, and on some select products. This offer is only available to customers within the contiguous US 48 states (excluding Hawaii and Alaska).
Items marked as oversize do not ship for free. Products that ship for free are sent via the cheapest shipping method which is typically UPS Ground.
If multiple items are ordered alongside the product that ships for free, then the shipping rate displayed is ONLY for the additional items (free shipping + the cost to ship the other items).
- In the event that shipping is too much for us to offer free shipping, we reserve the right to contact you with options.
- Free shipping cannot be combined with other offers.
- Shipping offers may be modified or concluded at any time.
- Limited shipping offers are not valid on prior purchases.
International Shipments:
We ship all over the world! At this time we are only using UPS and DHL for international shipments worldwide, with the exception of Canada where USPS First Class Package is an option. Rates will be calculated at checkout.
You are responsible for any customs / taxes that may be levied upon you by your country. Our shipping rates are for the cost of shipping only (not including taxes).
Pre-Orders:
Pre-orders orders require a 50% deposit at the time the order is placed. The remainder of the balance will be invoiced when your item is available to ship.
Returns:
Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it. It also must be in the original packaging.
All sales are final on sale items.
To initiate a return, please email us at hello@pigletscloset.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send you package. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs and it will be deducted from your refund.
- You will be responsible for the shipping costs to return your item.
- When we provide a pre-paid return label, the cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.
- The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. Pre-paid shipping costs that were paid at the time the order was placed will not be refunded.
- If you return an item to us and it is uninsured, and it arrives damaged upon shipping back to us, we will not credit you.
If you do ship the items back to us, and they arrive in the same condition that we sent the item to you, we will then credit your credit card for the amount of the items returned, less all associated postage costs with the transaction.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be responsible for all shipping costs on the return transaction. Original shipping costs when charged are non-refundable.
Delivery Issues:
We do our best to validate all addresses before shipping, but we cannot be held responsible for orders sent back to us for this reason.
- We are not responsible for invalid addresses or shipments that are marked "Return to Sender" by shipping companies.
- Please make sure that you enter the correct address during checkout.
- If we receive a returned package, we're happy to credit you for your order. However, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Even if the order qualified for free shipping, we will deduct the cost of the original postage.
- In the event we have to send out your package again, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.
We apologize, but we cannot be held responsible for stolen packages or missing packages marked as "delivered" by the shipping companies. We do our best to follow up with shipping companies, but it is up to you to dispute delivery with your local carrier and check the coordinates of the delivery.
- Please verify your shipping address and checkout, and again when you receive your order confirmation email.
- Make sure your parcel is shipping to a secure location
- Sign up for tracking notifications and be aware of the expected delivery date
- If you have concerns about receiving the item please email us to discuss adding signature confirmation. Better safe than sorry!
- If your item is marked delivered, and has not arrived it it best to call your local office, or carrier with the tracking number. More often then not carriers are able to access GPS delivery information. We as the sender are not able to get information about your residence or secure access points.
- If your parcel is returned to us we will contact you to discuss redelivery.
- We are only able to ship to the address provided at checkout.
Damages:
If an item is damaged in shipping, first of all we are so sorry! Unfortunately, sometimes things happen in transit, but we are here to help! Please contact us immediately at sarah@pigletscloset.com. We must be contacted within 7 days of receiving the order, otherwise we may not be able to replace the item.
Please note that we require an image of the damaged product, the outside packaging (with label), and inside packaging be sent to us either via email or text.
